• • Mrs. Poonam Dua received the Best Principal Award for Excellence in Sustainability and Environmental Stewardship 2025–26 from the National Edu Trust of India. Only 25 principals nationwide, including two from DPS, were honoured.
• Awarded the Green School Award at UNESCO House, New Delhi, in collaboration with Net Green Foundation. Presented by Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Hon’ble Minister for Environment, Forest & Wildlife, Delhi.
• Change Maker Award 2026: Ranked among Top 5 Institutions in India for sustainability & impactful practices by National Edutrust of India.
• Mrs. Poonam Dua, was honoured with the prestigious “Educationist of the Year 2025–26” award by the SilverZone Foundation.
• Ms Poonam Dua, Principal was conferred with the prestigious Avantika Excellence Educational Award 2026 for her invaluable and path-breaking contribution towards promoting social welfare, education, Indian art and culture.
• Participated in the workshop on “Building a Climate-Resilient Generation for Sustainability Action”, organised by Shiv Nadar University, Dadri in collaboration with CEE and HCL Foundation, focusing on sustainability education and environmental awareness.
• Article written on the Topic: “Education That Builds a Nation Begins with a Mind That Is Happy and Free” and published in Times of India Newspaper.
• Delhi Public School, NTPC Vidyut Nagar proudly celebrates the recognition of Principal Ms. Poonam Dua at the International School Leaders & Principal Conclave 2026, organised by i Educationalize on 9 May 2026 at IMS Noida Campus, Delhi/NCR. please also add in principal's achievements.

Ms. Poonam Dua, was honoured with the Citation of Honour for Distinguished Paper Presentation at the 2nd National Conference on Contemporary School Mental Health Initiatives held at Moolchand Medcity, New Delhi.
Her paper on “Training Teachers and Stakeholders as Mental Health Gatekeepers” was highly appreciated by eminent experts including Dr. Jitendra Nagpal (MD, DNB), Program Director – Expressions India. The renowned guests commended the relevance, depth and practical impact of the presentation.
